Juniper Hotels’ Rs 1,800-cr IPO to open on Feb 21; sets price band at Rs 342-360 per share

Juniper Hotels Ltd, which runs hotels under the “Hyatt” brand, on Thursday fixed a price band of Rs 342-360 per share for its Rs 1,800-crore initial public offering (IPO).

The maiden public issue will open for subscription on February 21 and close on February 23, the company said in a statement.

The IPO is entirely a fresh issue of equity shares worth Rs 1,800 crore with no Offer For Sale (OFS) component.

The June series Nifty futures are currently trading with a premium of around 145 points. After consolidating in an upward-sloping channel, Nifty managed to test 23,300 on exit polls suggesting a clear mandate for the ruling government again. SBI plunges over 3% on lower deposit growth, brokerage recommendations mixed

SBI shares fell more than 3% in early trading today, hitting a day’s low of Rs 819.4, despite the banking major reporting results in line with expectations. For the April-June quarter, SBI announced a net profit of Rs 17,035.2 crore, marking a 0.9% increase from the same period last year. This performance surpassed analysts’ expectations of a contraction.
